Butch Hurt, Business Development
Charles "Butch" Hurt, who joined Hales in 2008, has more than 30 years of experience in the financial services industries in a variety of roles including stockbroker, institutional energy trader and insurance brokerage mergers and acquisitions. For the five years prior to joining Hales, Butch worked in a small generalist M&A firm where he focused exclusively on the insurance industry. Butch is a graduate of the University of Florida with degrees in Journalism and Psychology, and holds various insurance licenses as well as Securities series 3.7 and 63 licenses.
