Hales & Company Announces Three New
Partners
New York, NY — March 11, 2008 — Hales & Company,
Inc. (“Hales”), a leading investment banking and advisory
firm specializing in the insurance industry, has announced that Louis
Caltavuturo, Michael J. Fletcher and Allan P. Keller have been promoted
to Partner at Hales.
According to John Kraska, Managing Partner, “The promotions of Lou, Mike
and Allan are in recognition of the significant contributions that they
have made to Hales in becoming the leading firm in mergers &
acquisitions in the insurance industry.” Bob Seda, Managing Partner,

Lou Caltavuturo, based in New York, joined Hales in 2004 and has 15
years of experience as a banker in both the mergers & acquisitions and
capital raising arenas for insurance and financial services-related
companies. Over the past decade, he's held positions at Deutsche Bank
and Fox-Pitt, Kelton and was also a central banker with the Federal
Reserve Bank of New York. Lou graduated from Colgate University with
concentrations in Economics and International Relations and earned an
MBA from Columbia Business School.
Mike Fletcher, based in New York, joined Hales in 2004 and has 10 years
of experience in corporate finance and mergers & acquisitions. Prior to
joining Hales, he was a vice president with Deloitte & Touche Corporate
Finance, focusing on insurance company mergers & acquisitions. Mike
graduated magna cum laude from Boston University with a degree in
Economics and earned an MBA from Babson College.
Allan Keller, based in Southern California, joined Hales in 2005 and has
over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. Allan's
background includes mergers & acquisitions, finance, operations and
other senior leadership positions in a variety of insurance-related
entities. Allan graduated with a BSBA and an MBA, both from the
University of Denver.
